  • Day 7 - Deep Dive Into Obliques - Pilates - Cool, Calm, Connected 2.0

    One of my favourite movements are obliques. They are so strengthening for our core, posterior chain and arms to help us in our everyday life. This flow is setting the groundwork for our obliques, learning to add arms and SLOWING IT ALL DOWN.

  • Day 19 - Everything About Squats - Pilates - Cool, Calm, Connected 2.0

    Get your legs ready because they are about to be CHARGRILLED. Squats, boxing, jumping, squats, squats and wait did I mention we are doing squats?
    This one is understanding when to add arms and weight and most importantly building knee strength.

    Woooo! I'm so excited! You will need your booty band so we can get your glutes on fire! Strap yourself in! I am using the medium booty band today as we will be using it for the whole flow...but the option is yours :)

    You can 100% still do this flow without the booty band!

    Grab your ankle/wrist weights - If you don't have any...grab some cans, or water bottles for the arm movement's - So, let's have some fun and let's jump straight into our warm up!

    Today we focus on the wait, abs and booty! Think horse kicks, fire hydrants and oil rigger. Then we fire up the abs for a burn and finish with a challenging bridge, balancing series. Enjoy.
